L'accueil n'est pas un vain mot au Fairmont Peace Hotel. J'ai vraiment adoré mon (trop court) séjour à Shanghai dans ce véritable monument historique chargé d'histoire néanmoins empreint de modernité.

My wife and I met at the Fairmont Peace Hotel in Shanghai with her mom and son. The occasion was bringing her elderly mom to the US for the first time ever. We also met her mom's brother (who lives in Shanghai) for breakfast at the hotel!

Booked the hotel for my partner's 50th birthday, checked in at reception and was told we have been upgraded to a suite. The ambience and decor of the hotel was so iconic and nostalgic and made one feel you are back in the 1930s. The executive Gold lounge was simply stunning and our room was unbelievable. The staff were friendly and very welcoming and demonstrated the archetypal Eastern hospitality. I have always wanted to stay at Peace Hotel and it was exceptional. I would thoroughly recommend the hotel and if you want a piece of history and glamour, this is the one for you

We stayed for 2 nights and were upgraded on arrival to a Nanjing road facing Gold King room - a great start and the highest level of customer service was on display immediately - the room was large, excellently appointed and spotlessly clean. We had access to the 9th floor Gold Lounge where food options of high quality and far exceeding their ‘hors d’oeuvres’ billing were available for afternoon tea and happy hour. The breakfast was the best we have seen in a 5 star hotel, and this opinion is based on experience of many fine breakfasts in many fine establishments across Asia and Europe - the variety and quality was simply wonderful. Finally, having mislaid a recent birthday present somewhere in the hotel and notifying Scott, the Fairmont Gold Manager and his team, the room was searched,(twice!) and, the bracelet in question being located in an obscure corner under the bed, was immediately couriered to us following a constant stream of supportive communication from Scott,. 10/10 team Fairmont Peace Hotel - we WILL return

Very good time spend in Fairmont Peace in Shanghai. it is well located and the rooms are very well maintained and spacious.
